Stormy Weather
We've had enough storms and rain that I thought someone had moved me while I was asleep. But I keep going outside and everything is the same as far as I can see.
The electric has been going off and on all week. That's kinda' hard on making the computers reboot. And the cable box keeps doing the same thing. So, my computers have been off more this week than they have in the last couple of years combined.
Thieves
I've used eBay for several years now and never had any problems. I still haven't had any problems with eBay, but I've had the first person try to defraud me. I placed a bid on an item. The auction ended and I didn't win. The next day, I received a second-chance email that said that I could get this item for the amount that I bid. I was really happy about that.
Then I started checking stuff.
There were several things that didn't quite measure up to eBay's standards and rules, including them wanting to use Western Union for the money transfer, having the auction goods in the U.S. while they were in the U.K., sending me an email from another address rather than their eBay email, etc.
I reported it and found out that this guy is a thief. He is fraudently trying to get my money ($900) for something that he has no intention of sending. He's not even the guy running the auction. He's just some scumbag that has hung around eBay, saw what others had bid, and is trying to make some money from stealing.
I have no place for thieves. If he broke into my house to steal my money, I might introduce him to his Maker! And this sleazy scum has the audacity to try to sneak in via my computer. What a pus sucking maggot low life! They used to hang horse thieves. Horse thieves had to physically sneak on your property and take something big. Lot's of risks. This sleaze ball is hiding behind a computer screen.
Yes, I'm mad. He'll get reported and that will probably be the end of it. When I've searched his email, it comes up on a site about him stealing $400 from someone else. How long will this kind of crap be tolerated. We need a new program that will send email bombs to this irk of people.
Geemyknee!
The FogWalker moves away from the computer for some rest....

Good thing you covered your tracks and checked this guy out. You're right he is scum.
I hate people like that on ebay. At least you caught it!
