  • Hot Flashes

I've had hot flashes, at least that's what I would call it.  And I'm not going through menopause, maybe womenopause!  You might have heard that already.  The doc said it was from my really bad sinus infection and the temperature from the infection is fighting to get out, and it's winning..  All I can say is, "It really sucks!"  If this is anything near what women go through, well, I'm glad I'm a man.

My face and neck turn blood red, even the whites of my eyes turn red.  My face and ears feel like they're burning to the point of pain.  I get disoriented and can't think; kinda' panicky.  Man, am I a wimp!  It's all kinda' crazy and I get all sweaty.  Then I get cold from the sweat when I start returning to normal, if you can call anytime for me normal.

    No fun!

The FogWalker goes back to recliner...needs to warm up...some, anyway...

  • Well, after a MALE doctor decided that I should have my ovaries removed while he was in there for another reason I ended up going into what they told me after the fact was, surgical menopause.  No easing into it just whamo!  There is such a thing as male menopause, but if you've been fighting an infection it's highly likely that it's the culprit.  Aren't you sick & tired of being sick & tired??  I know I am.

You can cancel your sons trip to set up a network on my computers because I've already done that.  But thank you for the offer!  My problem is that my computer that runs Windows is broken down. And thanks to all my health stuff fixing the computer is kinda on the back burner.  Anyway, like you said, it all sucks!

  • @mama_squirrel - Gee, that doesn't sound like fun either.  I'm definitely sick and tired of being sick and tired.  Hmm, that used to be the byline of my Hunni's newsletter.  Hope everything gets better, and soon!

  • Now thats what I call a sinus infection!
Don't want to be sick but man could I do with a hot flash about now.
Don't get blown up today by those storms.

  • @ElevenStones - the storms have definitely been here!
