• Better

  I'm not the bloody wreck that I was at the beginning of this week.  And I stayed inside most of the week and didn't finish out the buck season looking for that wall-hanger.  I'm getting better.  No old jokes from me about older and better.  I only have about 4 more days of the prescription where the 4 pills cost around $60 (after insurance).  I'm really glad the doc gave me 6 of them from samples.  I'd hate to think what 10 of those pills would have cost.

  Changed Plans

  My brother and Dad didn't get to go the remainder of this past week.  So we changed our plans to go back hunting this Wednesday through half a day Saturday.  Monday starts the antlerless season, so we can still get Dad out and try to get him a deer.  Our biggest goal is to help Dad get one.  He's 86 and that would be an accomplishment that would make all of us extremely happy.

  The following week is muzzleloading season and we'll probably go the last few days of it, too.  Then, other that two of the last days in December, we're back to bow season.  I love bow hunting, but the deer are extremely skidish after all the "big bang" seasons (4 weeks of 'em).
