Alias
I've had a couple of people ask, so here's the scoop. My real name is David, generally called Dave. Another nickname is DMo (like DeeMoe) which you can probably figure out that the D is for Dave and the Mo is the start of my last name. Creative, huh? Sometimes you'll see me as DMo224, my username here, which is the same as previous with my birthday added (not 224 AD though I do feel old). That's February 24th. Nope, didn't say the year, but some of you know that I'm an ol' guy anyway. LoL. And, I'm also the FogWalker. That name is just how I've felt since I started this blog after a life changing car accident.
Several Good Days, but tiring
I've had several decent, no, they were good days. The migraines were lower numbers, like 4s and 5s and got lots accomplished. Got my truck door fixed, my van taillight fixed and it inspected, Dad to the VA and also out to shoot his new bow, some big bills paid, etc. And yesterday, my sons took Mom & Dad out to a movie: Jet Li's last movie Fearless. My daughter/niece and nephew went, too. Then we went out to eat at Shoney's. After that, another movie, The Guardian. It was a full day, and tiring for me, but it was nice to be able to do all that, and do that with all of them.
Storming
I woke up around 3am this morning with the big barometric pressure change. My migraine has kicked back up to a #8 and I'm thinking of trying a nap now. It's really starting to feel and look like fall around here; my favorite time of the year. And it's getting really close to camping time again. I know my tent doesn't leak since it got rained and stormed on several times before I got it taken down and stowed. I'm ready for the camping!
The FogWalker is going to do some reading...then some napping...
