How do you answer questions?
When someone asks you a question in the comments of your blog, how do you answer them? I've notice several different ways that have been done, and I've done it several different ways.
- Some answer with another comment after the comments. Done that!
- Some may answer at the other's blog in the comments. Done that!
- Some answer in their next blog. Done that.
I'm wondering what seems to be the most efficient way to answer. So, if you're reading this, why not answer which way you think is more efficient in the comments for this blog?
Sleeping
I was asked about my sleeping and getting that checked (Sheryl, thanks for the comments). I've been through several clinics after the car wreck about the sleeping and the dreaming. I found out that I had sleep apnea and I have a C-PAP (actually it's a bi-PAP). This helped tremendously with my sleeping problem, but I still remembered most of the dreams. After doing some things to get in better shape (like losing weight, eating right, exercising, etc.), the sleep apnea seemed to fade away.
When I started having the symptoms again, the tests showed that I have Restless Leg Syndrome. Geemyknee! This movement of the legs will also keep a person in REM sleep and not in the restful deep sleep. It may also interrupt the sleeping patterns of your mate; which my Hunni is the one that told the doctor about it. And I've woke up several times thinking that there was either a snake on my leg, when it actually felt like there was some rather large worm moving up my calves under the skin. Kinda' X-files type thing....or maybe the scarabs in The Mummy. I've even woke up and pondered sticking a knife in my calf to kill that worm, but my Hunni wasn't real pleased with that aspect either. How'd you like sleeping with me? So, I took meds for that which includes muscle relaxers, steroids, sleep aids, etc. That stuff helped for about 2 weeks, especially when I was groggy for most of the day and slept all night. Another great feeling, huh! Mine is supposed to be neurological. Cool. So maybe it's related to the daily migraines. I'm a neurological mess!
BTW, if you want to know if you have RLS, there are 4 criteria that you must have to be the honored recipient of this syndrome.
- You have a strong urge to move your legs which you may not be able to resist. This is generally accompanied by uncomfortable sensations like creeping, itching, pulling, tugging, gnawing, etc.
- The symptoms start or become worse when you're resting. The longer you're resting, the greater or harder the symptoms.
- The symptoms get better (or lesser) when you move your legs. Of course, this may be a partial relief and it continues in just a few moments after you stop moving.
- The symptoms are worse in the evening when you lay down, and activities that bother you at night may not bother you in the day.
They say that 10% of people have this. Wow! I'm another rarity. Dubious honor.
The migraines can also feed off this problem with not getting the proper rest, even though my neurologist considers me a medicinal failure and has no "for sure" cause. I've even been the topic at several conventions of these doctors. Woot!
Before the Fog
I sometimes remember how it was before the car accident, and this fog. But it's only been after the time of the accident and my journies thru the fog that I've really come to realize how intricate that the human body is. It's an amazing thing, whether it's having a good time or bad.
Right now, I don't want to think of the time before the fog. It's depressing, espcially with this migraine.
The FogWalker goes for meds...then hopes for oblivion....

I usually answer in the other person's blog. That way I know they'll read it.
RYC: Wow that was a long time ago because I've not worked at Rite Aid for almost three years! I'm at the Charleston library now. =)
I'm trying to have a better day. Not working so far. =(
I think I answer 10 different ways. If it's a question posed in a blog, I probably leave a comment, like this. If it's a question posed to me in my comments, I sometimes go to the other person's blog and leave a comment like RYC. But I may just respond in my own comments right under the question. I don't know, because then they may never come back to the comments and check. But it's hard to keep up with things when you do RYC, too. So anyway, I hope all is well with you. I don't use Xanga much except to read my subscriptions.
If its a question I think others will ask or might like to know I try to answer on both the blog and in a reply.
RYC maybe the truck got there by tornado
I answer questions in different ways, depending on the question and who asked it, and what it was. For instance...ryc: They're mostly Siamese, though technically they are colorpoint shorthairs because they have something besides purebred Siamese in the background. But I have no papers or intent to get any on them, they're just the babies...and people will take them as they are with no problem. LOL
Since I know you read, I probably will also add to that in the next post. Sometimes I just answer in the post's comments if I'm sure the person will come back...it all just depends, I try to make it as easy as I can for all concerned.
Hope you feel better!!
