What happened to Wednesday?
Monday, I wrote about Sunday. And I wrote about Monday on Tuesday. So I missed writing about Tuesday on Wednesday and I don't even remember much of what happened. Do I take this morning to write about 2 days? Geemyknee! What a quandry!
Another Bad Day, but...
Tuesday morning was really a bad morning with a #7 migraine. It was a cool morning and is looking/feeling like my favorite season: fall. My tent has survived a couple of storms with no problems and no leaks. It's now really to be deployed into the woods in Wirt & Ritchie counties which is where I usually go to camp and/or hunt. I'm anxiously awaiting that and will be going for about a week in about 3 weeks.
For Health
I'm still attending Tai Chi Chuan class. I think this has helped immensely for the health; physically, mentally and even spiritually. No, I'm not a Buddhist, but anytime that you're feeling better physically and mentally, you can feel better spiritually. I think that threesome goes together hand in hand.
I've also started back with our Moo Duk Kwan Karate Academy and the Street Self-Defense (Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan and Sanuces Ryu Ju-Jitsu taught respectively). It's slow for me, but my doctors have been wanting me to be more active and "exerciserly".
They also want me to do more mental exercises, and these Martial Arts are also helping with that. Tai Chi is so intricate that you have to have some gray matter to "get it". I've got a little gray matter left, though the pathways may have been destroyed in the trauma. However, just as we have roadways, old roads can be destroyed and new roads built. I'm building new roads.
Sorry, but I will never be the person I once was, and that hurts, but I'll do my best to continue on, to survive!
Homecoming
It took awhile, but my youngest son got home from active duty. After several delayed flights and huge layovers, he got back here safely at 3am Wednesday. He was supposed to report into the base at 7am, but they allowed him to go in at noon. Now he's getting new orders and we don't know what those will be.
On a really good note, kinda' in a bad way, he may Staff Sergeant about a month ago. The paperwork didn't go in correctly so he doesn't get to wear his new strips until it's finished, and he doesn't get the pay increase yet. The good note? He will get the make up with back pay! Woot! What a nice check that will be, huh! So, there's yet another Sgt. Moore in our family.
Was that Tuesday or Wednesday?
I don't know, but I think most of that happened on Tuesday spilling over into Wednesday morning. And Wednesday night spilt over into Thursday morning. Oh yeah, now I remember. My youngest son took us all out to eat Wednesday evening after church. My oldest son is a cook at that restaurant and just got off work when we got there. So, the whole family got to eat and spend some good time together. It was a nice reunion that this ol' dad really enjoyed.
The FogWalker goes off to ponder what needs to be done today....and to figure out this nudging and friends thing...but must stay in the dark for awhile...

I think the whole body, mind, spirit thing is the key to happiness. We've been having an indian summer, but it was cold enough this morning that I wanted to stay in bed and I'm wearing sweat pants now.
Hope you have a good day.
